Owen Nieberg

Partner & Owner

Owen has over 30 years of M&A, operational management, and management consulting experience. Over his career, he has specialized in growth strategy, new business development, and operational improvements that increase revenue and profitability leading to greater business valuations. He has helped C-suite executives at some of the world’s largest firms including Microsoft, News Corp., Harper Collins, Viacom, and Citibank. Despite his decades long work at the highest levels of these global organizations, Owen also understands the operations of small businesses, having worked as the COO of his family business for 10 years during which he grew the company from 3 offices to eight, achieving a more than 3-fold increase in value, and eventually managing a successful 8-figure sale to a private equity firm. During this time, Owen acted as both the buyer and seller of multiple practices along with the eventual Private Equity sale and knows first-hand the trials and tribulations that our clients endure throughout the transaction process. A father of 3 and avid runner, baseball and hockey fan, Owen earned both his MBA and BBA at the University of Texas at Austin, graduating summa cum laude in both programs.

Corby brings an exceptionally strong background to the RMBA team having over 25 years of Executive-level accounting/finance and business experience working with small and medium-sized businesses across many industries and geographies. Not only has Corby owned and operated two successful businesses, including a business advisor brokerage and a real estate investment company, but her extensive understanding of financial analysis, business planning, business valuations and strategic marketing is critical to clients being fully prepared and informed when looking to buy or sell a business.

Corby is a member of IBBA and CABI. She is also a Certified Franchise Consultant (CFC) and a CPA (inactive). When Corby is not meeting with clients or behind her desk, she enjoys hiking, skiing, and spending time in the beautiful Colorado outdoors with her husband, 2 dogs and 2 teenage children.

Gregg Kunz founded RMBA after more than 20 years of success in the corporate world, where he held a wide range of senior leadership roles with global responsibility. After his corporate career, he launched multiple start-ups and ultimately sold his last business before relocating to Denver. That journey gave him a real-world perspective in mergers and acquisitions, insight he brought to RMBA with a focus on helping business owners and stakeholders maximize the value of their privately held companies. Gregg built RMBA with the understanding that relationships are built and earned through hard work, integrity, and strategic vision. Gregg has stepped back from an active role in RMBA, however his passion for providing excellent M&A guidance continues.

Jeff Snell

Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor

Jeff Snell brings nearly three decades of merger and acquisition experience to RMBA. He is laser-focused on process development and finding innovative solutions to assist business owners in the preparation and sale of small and middle market businesses. Jeff is highly skilled in achieving operational efficiencies and increasing revenue to maximize the value of businesses. Over the past 27 years, he has worked in various capacities in the technology industry, professional services, and consulting, as well as held board level positions with other firms, associations, and not-for-profits.
